Set in the midst of our current economic crisis, the story focuses on a husband and father, Joe (Clayne Crawford) who finds that it’s more difficult than he expected to kill his own food. An unexpected hunting incident forever alters his life.

SOUND WORK

Working directly with sound designer Peter Albrechtsen, Thomas Perez-Pape edited sound effects and backgrounds the film. Since a lot of the film is about walking alone in the woods, the detail and variety of forest sounds had to propel the story and emphasize the emotional journey of Joe.
